The group which recorded this CD is not the real Orquesta Aragon, even though it did a good job in interpreting some of this great cuban orchestra's mid to late 50's hits. For the sake of clarification and accuracy, Orfeon/Sony should have entitled this CD "Remembering Orquesta Aragon". In spite of that it is a good compilation, well played.4/5(2).

The music just screams Spanish Caribbean in the 's; happy, tropical days with no worries. My family used to have this same record on "a record" disc player. To bad Volume 1 cannot be found. 5/5(2).
