Courtney Pine has continued to play in reggae and other pop contexts (Closer To Home), and is a frequent collaborator with UK soul singer Mica Paris. Pine has done much to make jazz palatable for a younger audience, and as such is one of the UK's best ambassadors of the genre.
  2. Every album always has one song that makes me say,"That could have been a Dire Straits song." On this record, "Beryl" is it. This album is a little more stripped down than his last album, "Privateering." It is also less diverse, but that may be a bit unfair since his last album was a double album/5().

  4. Best known for producing MC Lyte, Audio Two sold the most albums along the northeastern corridor. The Brooklyn group's late-'80s and early-'90s albums weren't remarkable, but had their moments. I Don't Care: The Album, has a few decent tracks, including the catchy "Start it Up, Y'all" (which features guest Lyte) and the obnoxious "Get Your Mother Off the Crack.".

  9. Level 42's album World Machine was their most successful, finally giving them a foothold in the ceeenansocepkaimaijasifahgipasni.xyzinfo Allmusic review names it as one of the finest pop albums of the mid s, and sees a move away from the jazz-funk of earlier albums to a more pop or R'n'B sound, though still heavily electronic. I've chosen the title track and the following one - Physical Presence - for my video, and on.
