The “Rubber Soul” album released in the United States did not have “If I needed Someone” on it, nor “Drive My Car.” “If I needed Someone” was the song right after “And Your Bird Can Sing” (my FAV on the album) on “Yesterday and Today,” the butchered babies album that got covered up with a more “respectable” cover.
  6. The album is as dead quiet as it gets, owing in part to a very heavyweight pressing that borders closer to g than g. I also love the fact that this album is the UK mix of Rubber Soul.
  7. Sixth studio album by the legendary Liverpudlian band, featuring the classic tracks 'Drive My Car', 'Norwegian Wood', 'Nowhere Man' and 'In My Life'. Often referred to as a folk rock album, 'Rubber Soul' was originally released in and incorporates a mix of pop, soul and folk musical styles.
  8. "Rubber Soul" is album six, and here, The Beatles start to change - there's still a clutch of songs, but they all form a coherent whole, as opposed to being an assortment of random material recorded 'on the run' mid tour, as well as being one of the first that contains no cover versions/5(1).
